WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR FIRST VISIT?

What can you expect from God at The Sanctuary Church? If you are ready for your life to take on a new and elevated dimension, you can find a spiritual lifting through the divine presence of God by connecting with this blessed community of believers. The Sanctuary Church’s purpose is to help each person find that spiritual lifting and then together, we can serve the community and the world.

We believe the ultimate heights of God’s favor are for all who connect with His vision. Christ’s disciples created an Apostolic precedent in the first church that we are working to attain. The Sanctuary Church is a new church with ancient connections.

Come be our guest and experience this spiritual elevation for yourself. Simply put, Pentecost is about a Spirit-filled existence. Please accept this as your official invitation!

I’m happy that you’re thinking of attending The Sanctuary. The following information will give you an idea of what to expect when you visit. We’re familiar with that uncertain feeling you get when visiting a new place for the first time, and we know you’ll have a lot of questions, so we hope to answer a few here. Our prayer is that you’ll encounter God in a way you never have before. ~ Pastor Bean

Where are you meeting?

We are waiting on God to give us a permanent home, but for now we are sharing facilities with The Rock Fellowship Church at 3120 Browns Mill Rd, Johnson City, TN, 37604.

What should I wear?

Many people aren’t sure what to wear when they visit. We want you to be comfortable, so wear what you’re comfortable wearing. When you’re at one of our services, you’ll see a range of styles from jeans to business suits. Casual or “Sunday best” . . . it doesn’t matter. Most importantly, wear something you can worship in.

What happens when I arrive?

If it’s your first visit, you’ll be asked to fill out a Connect card so we can have a record of your attendance. We’re honored when someone takes the time to be our guest.

What should I expect during the service?

When you visit The Sanctuary, you’re not walking through the doors of your customary Sunday service, but rather a place that’s filled with the energy of people who are not ashamed to lift up Jesus Christ. Our services are filled with vibrant worship. We have a live band that leads in worship and we clap our hands, lift our hands, sing aloud, and offer heartfelt expressions of praise and thanks to God. Our Sunday service normally lasts around an hour and a half.

What’s offered for children?

We have officially kicked-off our Sunday School program and are ready to teach kids about the wonderful works of Jesus. They meet every Sunday @ 2:30pm.

Mothers with infants and children too small for Sunday School are most welcome and encouraged to attend. We only ask if the little ones become fussy that you please step out.

What’s offered for students?

Our student ministry has adopted the name “The Sanctuary Youth.” Due to change of location please contact us for meeting times and locations. Our Student Ministry leaders are excited about building a powerful, Spirit led, group of students. Contact us for more information.
